The coach from Castellón leaves Villarreal CF after six seasons
Villarreal CF announces that Sara Monforte no longer belongs to the Yellows. Thus, the Castellón-born coach will leave the club, which she joined back in the 2018/19 season to lead Villarreal CF Women.
With more than 150 matches in charge, Monforte led the “groguetes” to double promotion in her first three seasons, first to Reto Iberdrola and, subsequently, to the First Division (2020/21), where the Yellows have competed for three seasons.
