Antonio Rodríguez Saravia joins Unai Emery’s team
The coach Antonio Rodríguez Saravia, better known as Rodri, (Barcelona, 28th January 1971) has joined Unai Emery’s coaching team, with the aim of working on individual improvement for Villarreal CF’s first-team players.
He joins the club from Andorran side Inter Club d’Escaldes, where he was the sporting director. As a coach, the Catalan has vast experience in Spanish football, having managed Gimnàstic de Tarragona, Extremadura UD and UE Olot. He has also worked in the coaching staff at clubs such as Real Zaragoza, CD Tenerife, Cádiz CF and Girona FC.
