The Salamanca-born footballer arrives at Villarreal to bolster the forward line
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement to sign Laura Rodríguez ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 season, in which the women’s team will play in Primera RFEF.
Goalscoring prowess
Laura ‘Lauris’ Rodríguez Cuadrado (25/09/2001, Salamanca) rose through the youth ranks at CD Salamanca FF and featured in different age groups for the Castilla and León autonomous football team. In the 2020/21 season, which was her last for her hometown club, Lauris was the second-highest scorer in her age group in the league (12 goals).
In 2021 she signed for Atlético de Madrid, where she played for the B team, and was a key part of the promotion to Primera RFEF in 2023. The striker went on to make her Liga F debut with Los Colchoneros and was in the squad that won the Copa de la Reina in 2023.
