Yeremi Pino started and Aitor Gelardo took to the pitch at the start of the second half
There were Villarreal players impressing during Spain U18s’ first win of the Copa del Atlántico, which is taking place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The national side beat Slovakia 2-0 thanks to goals from Gabriel and Menargues.
Yellows Academy youngsters Yeremi Pino and Aitor Gelardo played in Spain’s win. Yeremi wore the captain’s armband, started the game and played 62 minutes, being replaced by Gregoria. Gelardo came off the bench at the start of the second half. Next up for Spain U18s is a game with Japan this evening.
