Yellows fans once more showed their charitable nature at the Estadio de la Cerámica
The ‘Give Blood’ campaign has gone successfully! Yellows fans have once more shown their charitable nature and have gone to give blood this Friday at the Estadio de la Cerámica, thanks to the give blood campaign organised by Villarreal CF and the Valencian Transfusion Centre (Centre de Transfusió de la Comunitat Valenciana – CTCV).
Former Villarreal CF player and current Institutional Relations Department member Marcos Senna, and the CTCV blood donation manager Roberto Roig visited the ‘Preferencia’ stand at the Yellows’ ground to thank Yellows fans for their support. The club gave each donor a discount voucher to spend at official Villarreal CF stores. There was also a raffle of sporting good between all who took part.
The Valencian Transfusion Centre and Villarreal CF have worked together since the 2001/02 season. Throughout more than 18 years of co-operation between both entities, there have been more than 9,000 donations at the Estadio de la Cerámica. The initiative, within the Endavant Solidaritat project, is backed by Fros-trol, official Villarreal CF sponsor.
