Endavant Igualtat gets underway for the 2024/25 season

Villarreal have hosted the charities and associations in a welcome day at the La Cerámica

Villarreal CF have kicked off the 2024/25 Endavant Igualtat programme with a multitudinous event held in the press room of the Estadio de la Cerámica. The event, led by the club’s director of football, Miguel Ángel Tena, brought together the main Villarreal CF teams and various representatives and users of the associations involved in this enriching initiative promoted by the club.

During the event, Miguel Ángel Tena took the floor to underline the importance of this project for youth football and to thank the various participating centres for their involvement. Similarly, Paloma Masó, head of CSR at the club, spoke to recall the tradition of this pioneering programme in Spanish football, which links young sporting talent with people with special abilities.

On behalf of the teams, Tiago Geralnik, captain of Villarreal B, appeared, while on behalf of the associations, Héctor Castillo, user of Down Castellón, addressed the audience.

After the speeches in the press room, players and Endavant Igualtat users enjoyed a relaxed aperitif inside the Estadio de la Cerámica. A fantastic starting point for the numerous meetings and days that the members of both groups will experience during the current campaign.
