Pancha Lara and Irene Miguélez have been called up by their respective national teams
Two Villarreal Women players have been called up to their national teams for the FIFA windows in February. Academy graduate Irene Miguélez will play three matches with the Spain U19s, while Pancha Lara will play in the play-offs for qualification for the Women’s World Cup with the Chilean national team.
The dates for their matches are as follows (CET):
Pancha Lara (Chile)
- Chile vs TBC: Wednesday 22nd February (2am), North Harbour Stadium (New Zealand).
Irene Miguélez (Spain U19s)
- Sweden vs Spain: Thursday 16th February (2pm), Ciudad Deportiva Camilo Cano (Alicante).
- Spain vs France: Saturday 18th February (8pm), Ciudad Deportiva Camilo Cano (Alicante).
- Netherlands vs Spain: Tuesday 21st February (12pm CET), Camilo Cano Olympic Stadium (Alicante).
