Dani Parejo has now become one of the top 10 players with the most official appearances for Villarreal CF. After featuring in the league match against Sevilla FC at the Estadio de la Cerámica, the Madrid-born midfielder surpasses on appearances (268) two legendary figures in the club’s history, Pascual Donat and Jaume Costa, all three now boasting an impressive tally of 267 official matches.
Since joining the club in 2020, Dani Parejo has established himself as a key figure in the Yellow Submarine. The Spanish midfielder was one of the heroes who lifted the UEFA Europa League trophy in 2021. With Villarreal CF, he has also competed in the Champions League semi-finals in 2022 and has helped the team qualify for Europe’s premier competition on three occasions.
Among the current squad, only Gerard Moreno has made more official appearances than Dani Parejo for Villarreal CF.
