The town hosted the ‘Centenari Groguet’ tour initiative
Benicàssim enjoyed yesterday 3v3 Copa Endavant! The town hosted this fun tournament yesterday, Wednesday 22nd March, in the afternoon at the Campo Municipal Torre de San Vicente. The competition, organised by Villarreal CF, celebrates the club’s centenary throughout the province of Castellón.
The sporting event, part of the ‘Centenari Groguet’ Tour initiative, was attended by more than 90 participants, between the teams in the two participating categories. The winners were Castellón (Blue category) and Juvisa Team (Green category), who sealed their place in the final, which will be held on 10th June on the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica. In addition, all the players received a special t-shirt for the tournament, as well as a backpack with a welcome pack.
Ambassador for the Submarine, Marcos Senna, and the Benicàssim councillor for Equality, Commerce and Youth, Vanessa Batalla, were present at the presentation of the medals.
Villarreal CF also brought the UEFA Europa League trophy to Benicàssim, a title won in 2021 against Manchester United in Gdansk (Poland).
