What a show at the Vila-real Trinquet, which hosted the semi-finals of the Valencian piloto Torneo Villarreal CF. In the first semi-final, the trio made up of Genovés II, Raúl and Tomàs beat J. Salvador, Javi and Àlvaro (50-60).
The second match saw Marc, Nacho and Bueno come up against Puchol II, Hèctor and Hèctor II, winning 25-60.
The final of the tournament, which will see the winning semi-finalists face each other, will take place on Friday 29th November at the Vila-real trinquet. The third-place play-off will take place beforehand.
The winners of the tournament will get a pass to take part in the ‘Trofeu Jo Sòc’, a new competition created between the Yellows and Levante to support the sport. The winners of the Yellows’ tournament will face the winners of Levante’s competition, which is taking place at the same time at the Pelayo Trinquet in Valencia.
The ‘Trofeu Jo Sòc’ final is a two-legged tie. First of all, they will play in the Vila-real Trinquet from 6th to 8th December, before the second leg on Saturday 16th December at the Pelayo Trinquet. The team will be the side who wins both matches. Should there be a draw, regardless of the result, there will be a third match, making it best of three, which will take part in the trinquet in Valencia on 14th December.
