Agreement reached for 19-year-old Al Sadd SC and Qatar international striker
Villarreal CF and el Al Sadd SC from Qatar have reached an agreement for Akram Afif, who will sign for the Yellows in the coming days.The Qatar forward is one of the most promising young players in his country, where he is playing for the international senior team at just 19 years old.
Having grown up at the Academia Aspire, he moved to Al Sadd in 2013 and in 2014 was loaned to KAS Eupen in the Beligium Second Division, la Proximus League, for two seasons. This season he scored six goals, helping the team to win promotion to the Jupiler League, the top flight.
