BIOGRAFÍA:

Alfonso Pedraza Sag (San Sebastián de los Ballesteros, 09/04/1996) es un extremo zurdo que atesora una gran velocidad y capacidad de desborde. Resistente y luchador, es un puñal por la banda izquierda.

El jugador cordobés llegó, siendo muy joven, a las categorías inferiores del Villarreal CF en 2011, procedente del Séneca CF. En el fútbol base amarillo, sobresalió como una de las grandes promesas del fútbol español. Durante su estancia en el Juvenil A, ganó el campeonato liguero y la Copa de Campeones. Esa misma temporada, y con solo 18 años, debutó con el primer equipo amarillo ante el Valencia CF en Mestalla. Al curso siguiente, dio el salto al Villarreal B, donde deslumbró en un equipo que logró la segunda plaza en liga y disputó la fase de ascenso a Segunda División.

 Tras completar su etapa en el fútbol base del Submarino, Alfonso Pedraza también jugó en calidad de cedido en el CD Lugo, el Leeds United y en la última temporada en el Deportivo Alavés. Pedraza exhibió un nivel impresionante durante su estancia en el conjunto blanquiazul. Además de erigirse en uno de los pilares del equipo vitoriano, el joven jugador cordobés anotó cuatro goles y repartió seis asistencias en los 37 encuentros en los que participó durante la temporada 2017-18. En la 18-19 regresó a la disciplina del Villarreal CF y en la temporada 19-20 jugó en calidad de cedido en el Real Betis. 

BIOGRAPHY:

The winger from Córdoba came to the Villarreal CF Academy in 2011, from Séneca CF. As he progressed through the ranks of the Yellows Academy he stood out as one of the great promises of Spanish football. During his time with the Villarreal U19 A team, he won the league and the Copa de Campeones. That same season, at just 18 years of age, he made his debut with the Villarreal CF first team against Valencia CF at the Mestalla stadium. The following year, he made the leap to the Villarreal B team, where he shone in a team that finished as runners-up in the league and played in the play-offs for promotion to the Second Division.

After finish his time playing for the Yellow Submarine’s Academy and Reserve teams, Alfonso Pedraza went on loan to play for CD Lugo, Leeds United and then Deportivo Alavés. Pedraza performed excellently during his time with the blue and whites. As well as becoming one of the fundamental pillars of the side from Vitoria, the young player from Córdoba scored four goals and provided six assists in the 37 games that he played in during the 2017/18 season. For the 2018/19 season he returned to Villarreal CF and in the 2019/20 season he moved on loan to Real Betis.
