The Canarian winger analyses the upcoming Champions League game against Young Boys

Yeremy Pino appeared in front of the media ahead of the UEFA Champions League game against Young Boys, which will take place on Tuesday 2nd November at 9pm CEST at the Estadio de la Cerámica. Here is what he had to say

The team’s current run

“We’re not where we want to be, but we trust the process that we’re in the middle of to get the points. We need to all be in it together.”

The importance of the match

“It’s an important match that could help us move towards the top of our Champions League group and give us a boost for the games to come. We’re putting in a lot of good work and we’re motivated to get the season running.”

The previous meeting

“The match in Switzerland was tough. They had very quick players and clear ideas on how to hurt us, but we defended very well. The Champions League is the best competition around and there aren’t any easy games. We’re ready to compete against anyone.”

A united team

“Last year, we also had bad runs where we weren’t having a good time, but we turned it around. The team needs to be more united than ever and work. The manager is the person who trusts us most.”

Concentration is key

“We need to be active and focused because small details can make a difference in games like this. We ask for the fans to get behind us and trust us. We need to be together as one.”
