The Canarian winger has been called up by Luis Enrique for the first time, and could make his senior Spain debut aged just 18
Spain have announced their squad for the upcoming international fixtures. Pau Torres is once more in the La Roja squad, after playing in Euro 2020 last summer, as well as the Olympic Games with the U23s. Villarreal winger Yeremy Pino is also in the squad for the first time, after being previous called up to the Spain U21 squad by Luis de la Fuente. Now, Luis Enrique has recognised his hard work and good performances with the Yellows.
Yeremy continues to impress at a young age. He is currently one of the 40 players nominated for the Golden Boy award, given to the best played aged 21 or under worldwide. He is also the youngest player in history to win the Europa League, and the youngest to play in the UEFA Champions League for Villarreal, after featuring against Atalanta aged 10 years, 10 months and 22 days, becoming a reference for promising talents from the Yellos Academy who are trying to reach the highest level with the first team.
