A total of 16 Villarreal CF players, who this season reached a decade reprsenting the Yellows, were recognised by the club in a ceremony led by president Fernando Roig, who personally gave the traditional ceramic submarine to each of those awarded. The ceremony also saw the presence of CEO Fernando Roig Negueroles, vice-president Jos\u00e9 Manuel Llaneza and Yellows ambassador Marcos Senna. It took place in the Preferencia Stand at the Estadio de la Cer\u00e1mica. Among the winners of the prize was first-team player Manu Trigueros.
