At 61, the coach from Ja\u00e9n has a long history in Segunda B, where he has also been head coach of Terrassa (four seasons), Lorca Deportiva, Badalona, L\u2019Hospitalet (two seasons), Legan\u00e9s, Sant Andreu and Marbella. He was promoted with Terrassa in 2001\/02 to the second tier, and reached the playoffs with L\u2019Hospitalet in
