Paco L\u00f3pez\u2019s side will take part in the tournament for the third consecutive season, with the aim of repeating their spectacular performance last year when they were crowned champions, beating PSV Eindhoven 4-2 in the Final. On this occasion, the combined U23 Yellows team are in Group B of the competition together with Manchester United, Sparta Prague and Middlesbrough. The Villarreal B team will make their debut in this season\u2019s \u2018Premier\u2019 in an exciting encounter against the Manchester United Reserves, to be played next Tuesday at Leigh Sports Village in Manchester (8pm). The objective of the U23 Premier League International Cup is to encourage and enrich youth football on British soil by providing a superior training experience with the inclusion of teams from the strongest European leagues.
