Rubén Peña backs the team to be more united than ever to return to winning ways
Villarreal right-back Rubén Peña underlined that him and his team-mates and the coaching staff are now focused on returning to winning ways in the next game against Celta (Saturday, 9pm CET): “Between all of us, we’ll get out of this bad run of three painful defeats. We’ll go for it to get our aim,” he commented.
For Peña, the team needs to be self-critical and improve after losing to Leganés: “We lost at home. These points would have seen us higher up. We have a lot to improve and we’re going to work on it. In the first half, we were better than our opponents. We didn’t kill them off when they were suffering and we ended up paying for that. With the second half just underway, they scored against us and hurt us.”
