

The Japanese midfielder arrives on loan from Real Madrid
Villarreal CF and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for the loan of the Japanese midfielder Takefusa Kubo, who will play for the Yellows for the 2020/21 season. The footballer will be presented this Tuesday at 12pm CEST, in the Preferencia Function Room at the Estadio de la Cerámica (access by Gate 31) in an event exclusive to the media.

Takefusa Kubo (Kawasaki, 4/06/01) is a young midfielder who has excellent ball control, and stands out for his extraordinary ability to beat opponents, as well as his excellent reading of the game.
At 19, the Japanese footballer has experience in the top flight of Spanish football. Despite joining Villarreal from Real Madrid, he spent last season on loan at RCD Mallorca. For the team from the Balearics, he played 36 games, scoring four goals and providing five assists. Take Kubo is also a regular in the senior Japan squad, having played a total of seven times for his country.
