Miguel Álvarez praised Hércules and underlined the importance of not making mistakes in a match that will be decided ‘by small details’
Villarreal B manager Miguel Álvarez appeared in front of the media to analyse the upcoming league tie against Hércules CF (Sunday, 7:45pm CEST). The Mini Submarine boss underlined the quality of their next opponents: “Hércules are a team that could be champions. They’ve strengthened really well and they have a lot of players with experience in Segunda División B Group 3.”
Furthermore, Álvarez emphasised that the Yellows Reserves are more than ready to compete in one of the most imposing grounds in the league: “We started the league season well by beating Atlético Levante. I’m sure we’ll put in a very good performance, but it will be decided by small details. We can’t make mistakes. We’re going to up to scratch in a great ground. We’ve prepared well to counter Hércules’ strengths.”
Finally, he confirmed that Edu Adell would miss out through injury, while Álex Baena misses out through suspension.
