Sara Monforte recognised the difficulty of facing the Catalan side
Villarreal Women head coach Sara Monforte analysed the upcoming match against FC Barcelona: “We’re going into the game full of respect for the opposition, but we trust ourselves. We know it will be a really difficult match, but we’ve got nothing to lose. We want to compete, we want to make the match last as long as possible to try and get something positive from it.”
The head coach called on the Yellows fans to back the team: “We’re asking people to come and cheer us on. We tell the players to enjoy the atmosphere.”
