The Yellows defender underlines that him and his team-mates as hard as possible to get into shape ahead of the league’s return
Villarreal defender Xavi Quintillà appeared in front of the press to analyse the current situation, with the Yellows training this week in small groups ahead of the league season returning: “Now we’re working with the ball more. We’re getting more contact with our team-mates. We are doing possession exercises and group activities. The first week was harder, as we were working on the physical aspect more.”
The Catalan footballer underlined team’s excitement and hunger ahead of LaLiga’s return: “The team is very focused, they’re all training very well and getting good feelings ahead of the league’s return. This few weeks are like pre-season. We’re working as hard as possible to end the LaLiga season as well as possible.”
Finally, Quintillà recognised that playing games behind closed doors will be strange: “It will be very strange for us, but we will need to get used to this new normal. We will need to overcome that and focus on competing and the return of LaLiga, which is what we all want.”
