The match
“We started the game well, with a number of chances but we didn’t make the most of them because they defended well and we didn’t have the inspiration we needed to finish them off. We also suffered a lot without the ball with certain imbalances that allowed many players to come out from the back quickly and that hurt us a lot and it’s something we need to correct and deal with carefully.”
Transition period
“We are in a period of change and transition and close to a break in which we will see what things we can do and what we can’t do to try to change them. We are in a process that I would like to go much faster, but it takes as long as it takes. The players are living in a different context to what they are used to and they have to go through a process of adaptation.”
