Miguel Álvarez underlined the great attacking prowess of Villarreal B’s next opponents
Villarreal B manager Miguel Álvarez has appeared in front of the press to preview the Mini Submarine’s next match against Atlético Baleares (Sunday, 12pm). “They’re a team with many resources. They have players that are good up front, strikers with a great ability for direct play and skilful footballers in midfield. They’re coming into the game in good form and they’re going to make us be at our very best. They’re a goalscoring side, which will make us need to take our chances and score at least two goals to get the three points,” said the Yellows coach.
The Mini Submarine boss hailed his team’s performance last weekend against Barcelona B. “It’s one of the best matches we’ve played. We were better than them, we created a number of chances, and unfortunately, two points slipped away from us with a set piece in added time. The result didn’t correspond to what happened on the pitch,” he added.
What’s more, the Groguet coach underlined the tightness of the quality of teams in Group III in Segunda División B: “There are sensational teams with a lot of talent. The reserve sides have teams with a lot of promising players, but also teams like Alcoyano, Hércules and even Baleares have quality to finish high in the table.”
