Setién has analysed the match against FC Barcelona (Sunday, 5:30pm CEST)

Villarreal CF head coach, Quique Setién, appeared before the media at a press conference after Friday’s training session, the penultimate one before facing FC Barcelona on Sunday at the Estadio de la Cerámica at 5.30pm CEST.

Here are the main points from his appearance:

Yeremy Pino, with the group

“He has been with the group today and he is doing very well. He will probably be called up tomorrow. We will decide after tomorrow’s final training session.”

Beating Barça would be a morale boost

“Every game and every point you can get injects a positive energy into everyone and, in games like this against teams that on paper are better than you, even more so.”

FC Barcelona

“They have a great squad. It’s true that they have some absentees, but those who play will not lower their level at all because they have great players in all lines.”

The fans

“We are counting on their help for the match, which will not be easy. Hopefully we can all do well together and get our first win at home.”
