Miguel Álvarez highlighted the necessary to stay true to the club’s style to get a positive result against UE Cornellà
Villarreal B manager Miguel Álvarez appeared in front of the press this Friday to analyse the upcoming game for the Mini Submarine against UE Cornellà: “They’re a good side. The last two times we faced them they beat us 3-0 and 2-0. It’s hard to win here, but it isn’t impossible. We have to believe in our chances, to be brave and not give anything up, always respecting our style.”
On the other hand, the Mini Submarine boss recognised that in recent games, set pieces have been an issue for the side: “We work on dynamic play, but we are also working on set pieces, especially this week when we’re facing a team that dominates this sort of play and has big players.”
Finally, Álvarez underlined the positive feelings surrounding the squad and how the team has grown, despite not having won in recent matches: “Each game we’re getting better and we need to take that away from us. We need to be calm because it is a long season that has only just started.”
