Jaume Costa was optimistic ahead of this Thursday’s match vs FC Zürich (7pm CET)
Jaume Costa is thinking positively. The Villarreal left back was interviewed at today’s press conference at the Villarreal CF Training Ground about the upcoming UEFA Europa League tie against FC Zürich (Thursday, 7pm CET). The defender was cautious but confident. “Zürich are in the Second Division, but two years ago we lost to them there. We know they’re going to create danger, but to think that we’re not going to win would be a mistake. We know that we can win this match”, he affirmed. “We know that we have enough potential to get the victory. A tough atmosphere and ground await us. If we do things well though we’ll have a great chance of winning”.
The Submarine defender highlighted the significance of playing in a European competition: “I know how difficult it is to get promoted from the Second Division. We suffered a lot there and now I’m enjoying playing (in the First Division) so much. For me it is a huge prize to be able to play European football. Four years ago I never thought it would be possible”, he concluded.
