Unai Emery hailed Villarreal’s great performance against Getafe (1-3)
Yellows head coach Unai Emery appeared in front of the press to analyse Villarreal’s impressive win against Getafe (1-3). “Today, we knew we had a difficult game against a team that had won three of their first four games at home. Getafe are a team that don’t make it easy for you in terms of the game. We are going away very happy because we knew how to compete, how to keep an emotional balance in every part of the game and we were able to show our quality.”
The Basque manager underlined that his team put in a very complete performance. “We took an important step forward today. We hadn’t yet won away from home in LaLiga and we managed to do that by putting in a completely performance which gives us 18 points before the international break. We want to be consistent. That’s crucial to going far in LaLiga.”
