Escribá assures that both the team and fans must give their all against Sporting
Villarreal CF Manager, Fran Escribá, warned just how important tomorrow’s match against Real Sporting de Gijón is at the Estadio de la Cerámica (8:45pm CET). “We all have to treat this as if it were a final, both the team and the fans. We will need the support of our fans to beat Sporting, who come here really in need [of the points]”, Escribá commented.
For the Yellows boss, it will be a difficult match: “For Sporting it’s a very important match because they’re playing to stay up, but it’s important for us too. They are a team that don’t stop fighting and who this season have already picked up points away at Sevilla and Valencia. They never give up and it will no doubt be a tough match”.
