Quique Setién has stressed that Villarreal will be looking to impose their game to win against Anderlecht
Villarreal head coach Quique Setién appeared before the media at the Anderlecht Stadium on Wednesday to analyse the match against the Belgian side, which will be played this Thursday at 6:45pm CET in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League round of 16.

“The feelings are the ones we had against Almería. They were very good. There’s always room for improvement, but we’ve taken an important step forward with an away win.”

“They are a team with similar mechanisms to ours. They play well, they try to keep the ball and come out from the back. They have good players. We can’t let them play because they are a great team. They’re not at their best in the league, but they’re a strong team.”

“They’re going to be aggressive and try to play in our half. We can’t let them do that. We’re playing away from home and they’ll be supported by their fans, but for us it’s an important game and we have to be at our best. They are a good team, but we should show that we can be better and get a good result.”
