The Transfusion Centre of the Region of Valencia presents a commemorative gift to the Submarine on World Donor Day
The Transfusion Centre of the Valencian Community wanted to recognise Villarreal’s commitment to solidarity on World Blood Donor Day, which is celebrated today, Friday 14th June.
The organisation presented Marcos Senna, representative of Villarreal’s external relations department, with a commemorative gift for his involvement in the Give Blood campaigns.
For more than two decades, Villarreal CF has been opening the doors of its stadium twice a year to host the Dona Sang (“Give Blood”) campaign of the Conselleria de Sanitat Universal i Salut Pública (Department of Universal Health and Public Health). Since the 2001/02 season, when this collaboration began, more than 10,000 donations have been registered at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
This solidarity activation is part of the Endavant Solidaritat programme, as part of Villarreal CF’s CSR and sustainability project.
