A goal from Lauris sees the Yellows beat Getafe and get two wins in a row at the start of the league season
Villarreal Women are looking promising. The team coached by Virginia García got their second win of the season thanks to a goal by Lauris from a cross by Nerea Pérez (m.36). This result means that the Yellows have now taken six points from a possible six with wins against Barça B (2-0) and this latest one against Getafe Femenino (0-1). Impressive.
Villarreal Women put in a solid performance at the Polideportivo El Bercial. Defensively robust and threatening in attack. Nerea Vicente, Lauris again, and Lucía Romero could have added to their lead throughout the match. Alexia’s also had a goal disallowed in first half stoppage time.
