The Venezuelan international Kareylen Capdevilla arrives from Yaracuyanos FC
Villarreal Women have confirmed the signing of young Venezuelan footballer Kareylen Capdevilla, who will strengthen Sara Monforte’s side ahead of the 2020/21 season. Capdevilla, who arrives from Yaracuyanos FC, is the fourth arrival for Villarreal Women this season, after the signings of María Cienfuegos (midfield), Olivia Oprea (defense) and Elena de Toro (goalkeeper).
The Yellows are working on building an exciting team for next season, which will see ten players from last season continue: Salma Paralluelo, Lara Mata, Sheila Guijarro, Sara Medina, María Sanjuán, Laura Royo, Cristina Díaz, Bea Prades, Yolanda Palomino and Irene Miguélez.
Youth and quality on both flanks
Kareylen Skarleth Capdevilla Briceño (San Felipe, 03.09.01) is a young player, with an exciting future ahead of her and a great talent in one-on-ones. Explosive and full of quality, she can play both as a full-back or a winger on both flanks. She is a Venezuela youth international, having played at U17 and U20 level, and has been called up for the senior squad.
Throughout her career, she has played for Yaracuyanos FC, Arroceros de Calabozo and Estudiantes de Guárico. Welcome to Villarreal!
