The Yellows have agreed new deals with Lara Mata (2023), Sara Medina (2022), Olivia Oprea (2022) and Irene Miguélez (2023)
Villarreal Women are now working on the squad ahead of the 2021/22 season, where the Yellows will play in the top flight of Spanish football for the first time.
Ahead of this historic campaign, the groguets have agreed contract extensions with four players. Lara Mata (defender) and Irene Miguélez (defender) will continue with the Yellows until 2023, while Olivia Oprea (defender) and Sara Medina (midfielder) have extended their stay with the Submarine until 2022.
These four players join Sara Monforte in confirming their place with Villarreal next season, with the head coach recently signing a two-season contract extension.
