Yeremy Pino and Juan Carlos Arana are the ambassadors for the Yellows in this eSports video game
Villarreal CF will take part in FIFA 22 Pro Clubs in collaboration with QLASH, the eSports club which looks after the club’s gaming division.
The Submarine will take part in the FIFA 22 tournaments organised by Virtual Pro Gaming (VPG) for PlayStation 4. The project will be led by two professional Villarreal CF footballers, who will be the ambassadors of this new team: Yeremy Pino and Juan Carlos Arana.
Pro Clubs is a way of playing FIFA 22 where each person creates a virtual player to manager during the game, respecting their position on the pitch and the strategies of the team. It is an 11-vs-11 game, with every player taking part online and on their own console. There can be changes made during the match.
The VPG started in 2016 in the United States and now takes place in more than 75 countries, with more than 450,000 players and more than 100 professional football clubs taking part.
Villarreal QLASH joins this competition and expands its participation in eSports. The Yellows have been competing for three years in FIFA, taking part in eLaLiga and other tournaments. In 2020, they joined eLaLiga and in 2021, they won the eCopa RFEF, finished in the top three of eLaLiga and the top four of the eLaLiga Cup.
The Yellows will announce how new players can join the Clubs Pro squad to represent Villarreal Qlash.
