Santi Cazorla will wear ’19’, the former number of Yellow legend Marcos Senna
The Villarreal numbers for the new 2018/19 season are now confirmed. Perhaps the most special announcement is that of the number to be worn by Santi Cazorla, who inherits number ’19’ previously made famous by Yellow legend Marcos Senna. The former player and current member of the club’s Institutional Relations Department presented Cazorla with his new shirt (see video).
As for the players who were with the team last season there are only two number changes. Sansone will wear 10 instead of 18 and Javi Fuego will change to 18 instead of 19.
The new signings have chosen the following numbers: Funes Mori (4), Cáseres (5), Gerard (7), Bacca (9), A. Pedraza (16), Toko Ekambi (17), S. Cazorla (19) and M. Layún (24).
