This Thursday the Yellows will play the Round of 16 second leg against Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Villarreal have landed in Germany. The Yellows’ squad departed on a charter flight from Castellón Airport at 12pm CET with Colonia as their destination, where they landed at around 2:30pm CET. Once in Germany, the team headed to Bensberg, a city midway between Colonia and Leverkusen (40 kilometres), where they are staying in the Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg (Kadettenstraße, 51429, BergischGladbach).
The Villarreal manager, Marcelino García Toral and a player from the First Team will appear in a press conference this afternoon (6:30pm CET) in the BayArena stadium, where afterwards the team will train behind closed doors (7pm CET, first fifteen minutes open for media purposes).
After Thursday’s encounter with Bayer 04 Leverkusen (7pm CET, BayArena stadium), the team will fly back to Vila-real that same night.
