The U15s won the title of this triangular tournament, while the B team finished second in their respective age groups
This weekend, a triangular female football tournament was held in memory of Carla Irún Molina, in which the Villarreal U16s (Cadete) and Villarreal B team took part.
A charity event aimed to raise funds for research into Adenolosuccinate Lyase Deficiency (ADSL), a rare neurodegenerative disease whose symptoms include mental and psychomotor developmental problems, epilepsy and speech difficulties.
It was the U15 tournament in the morning, where Villarreal took on CD Castellón and a selection of the best players from Benicàssim. The Yellows won after beating both teams 2-0 and 5-0 respectively.
In the afternoon, it was time for the tournament between teams in the 3ª RFEF division, with Villarreal B, CD Castellón and Fútbolellas CFF. This time, the Yellows came second after beating Castellón on penalties (0-0 in normal time) and losing 0-1 to the side from Madrid.
