The Yellows took on the Reserves at the Villarreal CF Training Ground
Preseason is underway! Villarreal played their first preseason friendly match against the Villarreal B team, who surprised their big brother with a 1-2 win in the final minutes of the match. In a training like atmosphere, both teams put out a different starting eleven in each half so that the players could all get used to playing more and more minutes.
The first half was dominated by the First Team, who had the best chances and took the lead through Leo Suárez after a quarter of an hour. Nevertheless, the Reserves held off the onslaught and went into the break a goal down.
In the second half, the Villarreal B team equalized and started to get out of their half more. In the 70th minute, Franco Acosta equalized for the Mini Submarine, wh ended up taking the victory after a winning goal scored by Genís three minutes later.
