More than 2,500 children from the province of Castellón have this season enjoyed activities as part of Endavant Club Groguet
Once more, Villarreal has brought excitement to little ones. This season, the Yellows have been more present than ever in education centres in the Castellón province thanks to the Endavant Club Groguet initiative, the main aim of which is to aim to instil sporting, healthy and equality values through a number of sports, leisure, and charity activities.
This season, more than 2,500 children from the province have enjoyed activities from Villarreal CF’s kids club. A total of 11 schools have been visited by the Yellows players, 21 centres have visited the Estadio de la Cerámica, while 22 schools have taken part in official training sessions carried out by Yellows Academy coaches.
In the current 2019/20 campaign, the project has reached every corner of the province. From north to south and from east to west. Small towns as diverse as Càlig, Segorbe, Benicàssim and Benassal have taken part in activities organised by the Yellows, which this season has gone beyond the borders of our province and has even got young students from other neighbouring provinces, such as Teruel or Valencia, involved.
As well as the activities with education centres, Endavant Club Groguet also carried out a number of special actions on matchdays at the Estadio de la Cerámica
Each matchday, the Fan Zone hosted the ‘3v3 Groguet’ tournament, where, once more, youngsters from clubs across the province of Castellón took part. After enjoying their favourite sport at an unbeatable location, the participants, got free tickets from Villarreal CF to watch the game. What’s more, the winners from each edition were photographed with the first-team players on the pitch at the stadium.
On matchdays, the club reserves two boxes at the Estadio de la Cerámica for youth players from Villarreal CF and CD Roda. Furthermore, hundreds of young Yellows season-ticket holders signed up at the official stores to be part of the photograph with the Villarreal starting XI during the build-up to the games.
Yellows birthday boys and girls have also been celebrating this season. Villarreal have invited hundreds of its youngest season-ticket holders to celebrate their birthday by going to a match in a VIP box at the Estadio de la Cerámica. Furthermore, Villarreal has also opened the doors of the ground to a number of boys and girls to celebrate their birthday there with all their friends.
Finally, Villarreal have also provided a crèche, the ‘Ludoteca Groguet’, a free service on matchdays at the Estadio de la Cerámica, where season-ticket holders can leave their children during the match. There are 20 available spots per game, with reservations taking place by e-mailing groguet@villarrealcf.es.
