The Yellow Submarine will take part in this summer tournament alongside Como 1907, Crystal Palace, FC Famalicao, RC Lens and AIUla SC

Villarreal CF have confirmed their participation in the Como Cup. The Yellows will compete in the second edition of this summer tournament, organised by Como 1907, which will take place from July 28 to August 1.

In addition to Villarreal and the Italian side, other clubs from Europe’s top leagues will take part, including Crystal Palace (England), FC Famalicao (Portugal), and RC Lens (France), as well as AIUla SC from Saudi Arabia.

The Yellows already know their first opponents in this summer competition. Iñigo Pérez’s side will face AIUla SC on Wednesday, July 29, at 7.00pm. Later that same day, the Submarine will take on Como 1907 at 10.00pm.

Medical tests from July 6 and first training session on July 9

Villarreal will return from their holidays to undergo pre-season medical tests on July 6, 7 and 8.

The team’s first training session under new head coach Iñigo Pérez will take place on Thursday, July 9, at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza.

Friendly against PSV confirmed

Villarreal will also play a friendly match against PSV on July 25, at 6.00pm, at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven.
