The Yellows will be represented by 19 players in the tournament in North Carolina

With a week to go until The Soccer Tournament (TST) kicks off, Villarreal can confirm the 19 players who will be representing them in their quest to win the million-dollar prize. The squad to take part in the competition is made up largely of former first-team players, while players from affiliate club CD Roda and international academy Villarreal North Texas will also represent the Yellow Submarine.

The biggest names for the Yellows at the tournament in North Carolina include former captain Marcos Senna, and legendary goalscorer Giuseppe Rossi, while US influencer Mattia Polibio will also be part of the squad.

The team will be coached by César Arzo, the Vila-real native who came through the youth academy before playing for the first team between 2003 and 2006. He currently works at the club in the Player Department.

The coaching staff will be completed by directors of various of the Villarreal international academies in North America. Todd Abbey (Villarreal Force), Jordan Greenway (Villarreal Las Vegas), Gio Vazquez (Villarreal North Texas), Christian Vazquez (Villarreal North Texas) and Jorgie Rodriguez (Villarreal Alberta).
