Villarreal Academy collaborates with Global Sport Talent to host a camp in Quito
Villarreal CF continues to drive its international expansion with the organisation of Villarreal CF Camp Ecuador 2026 in collaboration with Global Sport Talent. The camp will take place from 20th July to 7th August at Colegio Intisana, located in the country’s capital city, Quito.
Aimed at boys and girls aged between 6 and 20, the camp will offer a training experience inspired by Villarreal CF’s official methodology, internationally recognised for its ability to develop football players within an educational and competitive environment.
As a key part of the programme, from 3rd to 7th August the camp will feature Villarreal CF coaches, who will lead the training sessions and share with participants the working principles that define the Yellow Submarine’s academy.
All participants will receive an individual technical assessment and will have the opportunity to earn a sporting experience in Spain to get a first-hand look at Villarreal CF’s development environment.
The initiative stems from the partnership with Global Sport Talent, an Ecuadorian organisation specialised in national and international sports projects. “We are convinced that this collaboration will bring elite football closer to hundreds of Ecuadorian children and young people,” representatives of the organisation stated.
Villarreal CF Camp Ecuador 2026 aims to promote the development of both men’s and women’s football in the country, offering equal opportunities to all participants. The camp is also expected to welcome young players from different cities across Ecuador, turning the event into a space for learning, coexistence and cultural exchange through sport.
