The club will collaborate with charities Cáritas and Red Cross in these extremely difficult times
Villarreal CF will donate half a million euros to help those affected by the flooding in Valencia. Due to the extreme situation that is being experienced due to the effects and consequences caused by the flooding in the Region of Valencia, especially in the province of Valencia, the club has been contacting various associations and non-governmental organisations to find out the best way to be able to collaborate.
After this exploration, they have all agreed that the quickest and most efficient way to cooperate is through financial contributions, as they will be used immediately for the different emerging needs. For this reason, Villarreal CF has decided to collaborate financially with Cáritas and the Red Cross and invites its fans to do the same through the following channels:
In addition to the financial contribution, the club has placed itself at the disposal of the Generalitat Valenciana and these associations to offer its facilities and all the means at its disposal in case they can be of use.
Villarreal CF would like to thank all the efforts being made by the various security forces, associations and NGOs and the citizens themselves for the help they are giving to those affected and conveys its utmost dismay at the serious situation that is being experienced, in which it wishes to convey its support and condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.
