The Submarine, ACE Distrofia and Vampirako Studios’ charity video game is a sensation
A resounding success. The Submarine’s charity video game, ‘Villarreal CF Soccer Hunters’, has surpassed 5,000 downloads (5,293 to be exact), just twenty days after the game was officially presented on 10th Novemeber. The App, available on Android and iOS, has gone down a treat with fans, who have given it a 4.5 out of 5 rating (Android) from 200 reviews.
To celebrate the success, the ‘Conquistando Escalones’ Association (ACE Distrofia) and Vampirako Studios, have kick-started a competituion in which they will give away two exclusive shirts from two Submarine legends, Marcos Senna and Bruno Soriano. ‘Villarreal CF Soccer Hunters’ differs from conventional video games as it includes values such as respect and education. All with one purpose: to save the football world. Free, but for charity
The video game is available for download free of charge, but all the funds raised through merchandising and extra expenses will go to charity. Villarreal CF will give their entire share of revenue to the ‘Conquistando Escalones’ association, that was founded for those affected by Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD-1F). In fact, Vice President of ‘Conquistando Escalones’, Abrahán Girao, has played an active part in the creation of the video game by Omar Serralvo, of the Vampirako Studio.
