The Yellows Reserves and a number of the club’s internationals were recognised by the local authority
Villarreal CF and a number of its footballers were prize winners in the local Sports Gala, organised by the Vila-real Council’s Servei d’Esports, which took place on Thursday at the municipal concert hall.
Villarreal B were decorated as the best team of the 2017/18 campaign after reaching the final-round of the play-offs for promotion to Segunda. EDI (intellectually disabled team) players Oriol Mezquita and Nerea Gil were recognised as the best disabled players, while those players who featured for a Spanish national team received a special plaque.
Furthermore, a number of clubs that form part of Endavant Sports, the programme to promote Villarreal CF’s provincial sports, like Club Triatló Vila-real and Fighters Vila-real received deserved recognition during the Sports Gala.
Asimismo, varios de los clubes que forman parte del programa de promoción del deporte provincial del Villarreal CF, Endavant Esports, como el Club Triatló Vila-real o las Fighters Vila-real recibieron un merecido reconocimiento durante la Gala del Deporte.
