The side from Alicante will continue to be an affiliated club at youth level
Villarreal CF and Lacross Babel CF have extended their links and collaboration with regards to youth football so the side from Alicante will continue to be one of the Yellow Submarine’s affiliate clubs. The act of renewal was attended by Álvaro Peris, Villarreal CF youth co-ordinator; Tomás Iborra, Lacross Babel president; and Javi García, 11-a-side football co-ordinator at the club from Alicante.
Founded in 2011, the club, dedicated to youth football, has 16 teams with more than 250 youngsters in the academy, and have experienced growth year on year. Villarreal CF have a collaboration agreement with various domestic and international clubs in terms of forming players and coaches. A number of young talents who started at the club are now completely integrated within the Yellows Academy.
The affiliated clubs that Villarreal CF have links with are the following: CD Roda, Escuela de Fútbol Torre-Pacheco, CD Oliver, A.D.I.U.R., Mislata UF, CD Floresta, Elda Unión, Lacross Babel CF, CE Vila d’Onda, Benicarló Base Futbol, UDE Vall de Uxó.
