The Yellows Reserves take the three points against Eldense thanks to a Carlos López goal
Paco López’s side got back to winning ways (0-1) in Elda after going two matches without picking up three points and move closer to the middle of the table. After tripping up against Valencia Mestalla and Llagostera, the Mini Submarine were triumphant thanks to a Carlos López goal in the 13th minute, after a delivery to the far post where he finished unmarked. After the sending off of Eldense’s Samu, in the 41st minute, the Yellows hardly suffered a threat from the locals.
With this win, the Reserves move up to 13th place with 8 points, just above Lleida, who are on the same points but have played one match less. The Reserve team’s next match will be next Saturday against Badalona at the Mini Estadi at 6pm. The game will be broadcasted live on Villarreal CF TV.
