The Yellows reserves get a point against a combative rival thanks to goals from Simón and Ramón
Villarreal B got a point from their visit to Olot in a competitive game. The Mini Submarine went ahead through Simón Moreno, but the Catalan side turned the tie around before half-time with goals from Marc Mas and Pedro. Finally, a great volley from Ramón Bueno gave the Yellows a deserved reward for their hard work in the second half (2-2).
Miguel Álvarez went for a three centre-backs, with Andrei, who was with the first team yesterday in Vigo, and Enric Franquesa, who had been out of action due to injury since November 2018, as wing-backs.
The Mini Submarine went ahead before the first quarter of an hour. Chuca robbed the ball, played a great inside pass to Moreno, who finished with class (0-1, m.14).
The Catalans equalised in the 26th minute. Mas sent the ball into the back of the net after a cross from the left (1-1).
The home side scored their second goal just before the break. This time it was Pedro who beat Joan Femenías with an unstoppable right-footed shot from the edge of the box (2-1, m.43).
Villarreal B dominated nearly all of the second half. They found a reward for their hard work with a great goal that made it 2-2 on the scoreboard. It was in the 66th minute of the tie went Andrei crossed in from the right and Bueno volleyed it into the top corner from the edge of the area. Tremendous!
