The Yellows will train on the Arena Nationala pitch this afternoon
Villarreal landed at midday today at the Bucharest Airport, where they will play against Steaua in their second match in the Group stage of the UEFA Europa League (7pm CET).
The Yellows expedition set out this morning from the Castellón Airport and then travelled to the JW Marriot Bucharest hotel (Calea 13 Septembrie 90, 050726) where they will be staying.
This afternoon, the Submarine will have their first contact with the Arena Nationala pitch in their official training session that will start at 6pm CET (7pm in Romania). Half an hour before (5:30pm CET) the official press conference will be carried out with Villarreal Manager, Fran Esribá, and Denis Cheryshev in the press room at Steaua București’s home ground. The team will start back on their journey to Castellón straight after this Thursday’s encounter.
